Join Paul Martin’s American Bistro at “The Best of Sacramento”

Posted Date: December 1, 2010

napkin19The 12th Annual Best of Sacramento is Thursday, December 2nd, at the Sacramento Convention Center (1400 J Street). The Best of Sacramento may be to celebrate Sacramento’s Best (restaurants, art, theatre, music, etc.), but more importantly it benefits the March of Dimes. Now in it’s 12th year, all proceeds from the Best of Sacramento goes to our local March of Dimes Chapter. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Winners of Sacramento Magazine’s readers’ polls and editors’ choice awards are invited to participate in the party where they exhibit or present their specialty. Paul Martin’s American Bistro will be there serving up Pork Chili Verde Tacos and Roasted Butternut Soup. Our pork comes from Bledsoe Farms, and owner John Bledsoe will be with us. Their pork is raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, resulting in a sweet and tender mouthful of goodness! Our Butternut Squash comes from Pilz Farms, a small family farm, where they use natural practices, best-of-sacmag2largelybeneficial insects, and compost. We top off the roasted butternut squash soup with sage oil! Paul Martin’s American Bistro placed in two categories: 3rd place for Best in Roseville/Granite Bay and Best for Best Place to Help Out a Farmer! Congrats everyone!

Join Paul Martin’s as we celebrate the Best of Sacramento and raise money for the March of Dimes at the Sacramento Convention Center, Thursday December 2nd, 4:30-10:00pm. Tickets are $75 advance and $95 at the door.
