Always very busy and a great atmosphere! Open Seating at the bar is a must. DO NOT sit in the middle bank of tables in the bar section!! They are very noisy and the service is unbearably slow. Sitting at the actual bar will get you fast service and good conversation with the bartenders. Great drinks, and excellent food! I recommend the Butternut Squash Soup, Warm Bacon Spinach Salad, and the Skirt Steak which is absolutely amazing. Skewers and Mac & Cheese is only OK. I’ve heard the plank salmon and Ribs are popular. Sundays are quieter with a delicious Fried Chicken & Mashed Potatoes Special (great for a hangover)!

Max H. 5 stars:
Lunch is affordable and less crowded so that’s what we did. Everything was seasonal especially the vegetables. We asked for a side of whatever was fresh and we got DEEEElicious veg with our perfectly cooked fish. No complaints. We will go back but not when the place is knee deep in people. Pick your days and hours no matter where you go.
It matters!

Ate here for new Years, great food, great service, killer oysters. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place and it really deserves a 4.5.

“This was our second time at Paul Martin’s, and once again the kitchen and staff overdelivered. Each dish was exquisite (once we, with some difficulty, were able to narrow down what we wanted from the delicious options available) and the service was very attentive. We introduced my parents to this place on this visit, and they will definitely be back as well!”

“Generally pretty good, but my hamburger was not very good at all. It was overcooked and did not meet expectations.”

“Great food, well worth the price (expect to hit around $25 per person). The waiter was fantastic, really attentive, went along with the vibe of our group without making himself annoying. Everyone enjoyed everything, the desserts we really good, if a little pedestrian, but hey! That’s not a complaint so much as an observation. It’s pretty common for restaurants to sort of ease up on the desserts a bit.

Still, everyone loved the food all around, it wasn’t loud at all, huge wine and alcohol selection for the folks who are into that. Everyone agreed we’d definitely make a return trip to Paul Martin’s. Oh, right! And it’s all organic/humane food if that’s your thing.”

“Fist time at Paul Martin’s. It was not our usual type of dinner restaurant for a special ocassion but everything was great! From the greetting at the door, to the dining table location and service. Best of all, every dish from soup to entree including desert was excellent, from temperature to taste.”
