Best in Roseville; cool vibe, small plates are great for the ones who watch their waist line, decent wine list, staff is sort of young dumb…but if you get past their naiveté, it’s all good. Roseville can be painful living in the suburbs not a lot to offer in fine dining but PM offers fresh oysters and trust me I have had my share of some rotten crap in the city, and the short ribs kick ass. Similar ambience and decor and food offerings to Houstons, but the food choices and ingredients are a little more cutting edge here. Different and organic takes on traditional dishes. For instance, a traditional Caprese salad (a favorite of mine) is served with large organic tomatoes from the Santa Monica Market bursting with flavor, mini basil for more of a taste pop, and a very soft dollop of savory specialty cheese on each tomato slice. Devils Food Cake was served with marinated bing cherries that made my jaw stop at the first taste- a really delicious surprise. Try this place for a new take on your old favorites. Service was SUPER-friendly. SUPER-friendly service in LA? Yes! 5 stars! Christine B.

I do like this place. Enough to give it 5 stars. The food has always been good (the artichoke used to be WAY better though) and the service has been decent enough in my experience. Not sure why the bar isn’t too crowded, seems like a good spot. The lamb, burger, and brick chicken are solid bets, and there’s usually a good vegetarian option as well. There’s also a lime green Lamborghini always parked out front, in between a bunch of Kia’s, which is kinda silly, but that’s Roseville style right there. Definitely give this place a shot, it’s always been good when I’ve been in. 5 Stars O n.

Amazing! Best service ever! Most amazing food. Definitely in my top 10 for favorite restaurants! 5 Stars! Bryson S.

We drove by this restaurant probably a hundred times while living in Roseville and never decided to try it, until my mom’s 50th birthday came up. We decided to take her out somewhere in Roseville for a quiet family dinner and at last minute several of our relatives decided they wanted to join. We had to make very last minute reservations and after calling Crush 29, Piatti, and many other area restaurants that were rude and wouldn’t even consider taking reservations for our group"¦ we decided to give Paul Martin’s a try. The woman who answered the phone was AMAZING! She was very friendly and didn’t even flinch when I asked for a reservation for 20 people. She spoke with the manager and said "Of Course!" they can accomodate us. She saved us, and my mom had the best birthday dinner ever. Everyone loved their meal"¦

Awesome food! The grilled artichoke and pesto aoli is the best artichoke appitizer we’ve ever had. The spinach dip appitizer was out of this world. So many flavors! Ribs, chicken dishes, and pastas were all well recieved by my family and the drinks are GREAT!

If I had to give any comments on what they could improve, I would only say the service could be a little more attentive and friendly, but they are not bad at all. We’ve been there a few times since and get consistant service, just not great.

Overall, one of our favorite spots in Roseville and we always go there for special occasion! Try it "” You will not be disappointed!
