A little Father’s Day history…Father’s Day began in 1910, when Sonora Smart Dodd listened to a sermon about Mother’s Day. She felt fathers should be celebrated, as her father raised her and her 5 brothers and sisters after her mother died in child birth. Henry Jackson Smart was born in June, so she chose to celebrate the first Father’s Day June 19, 1910 in Spokane WA.
Paul Martin’s American Bistro invites you to bring your Dad, the man in your life, the guy who’s there for you, all “dads” and join us a we celebrate Father’s Day Sunday June 20th. We are open for Sunday Brunch from 10am to 2pm, or until 9pm with regular menu offerings.
