Taste the Patron Difference Daily at Paul Martin’s American Bistro

Posted Date: September 26, 2011

Patron has made a name for itself in the tequila world; well, really in the world of all cocktails. Everyone knows that you can’t go wrong ordering a margarita made with Patron, but did you know what really goes into that exceptional tequila?  Start with the finest, hand-selected Weber blue agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico.  Patron handcrafts each small batch of tequila with a unique production process that combines modern technology and traditional methods to produce the tequila’s distinct taste.

The agaves are baked in traditional, small brick ovens, converting the starches into sugars and yielding unique flavor compounds.  The agave is then crushed using a roller mill and natural stone Tahona wheel, then distilled in small batches in copper pot stills, which results in Patron’s smooth taste.  Even Patron’s bottles are handcrafted out of recycled glass, inspected and numbered by hand.  This commitment to producing a spirit made with carefully selected natural ingredients and handcrafted with the highest standards has earned Patron tequila a prominent place in our bar.

Paul Martin’s American Bistro proudly features our Patron Silver margarita during our Taste of Paul Martin’s happy hour every day at our El Segundo restaurant and Roseville restaurant.  We wouldn’t pair Patron with just any margarita mix our sweet and sour mix is fresh and crafted in-house.  Shaken together, served over ice"¦the perfect accompaniment to our $4 pork chile verde or beef street tacos.
